Commonword is a writing development organisation based in
Manchester, in the North
West of England.
Its aims are to develop creative writing especially focussing
on groups that do not normally have access to writing and publishing resources.
We provide the facilities for people to develop their writing and our activities
act as a point of focus for many writers seeking encouragement and confidence.
From its small beginnings in 1977, it has grown into an important regional
resource: the largest community writing and publishing organization in
the area.
