I started painting furniture for my son when he was very young, got some commissions, and went on from there. This medium is too often associated solely with children, but lately grown-ups have been getting in on the fun as well. Recent jobs have included everything from wardrobes, wall panels, cupboard doors, and toy-boxes to wheelchair hubs, and I haven't repeated a design yet. Anything can be painted on as long as it is adequately prepared.
