At MCS we try to assist people who are experiencing difficulties making or maintaining relationships, who suffer stress, anxiety, grief or are feeling lost; searching for a sense of identity and self worth. 

 
Following contact with MCS you will be invited for an initial session where you can talk about your concerns and problems.  At this meeting the counsellor will help you to assess what support you may need.

Our service is discreet.  Whatever you tell your counsellor is confidential.  However a counsellor may consider breaking confidentiality if you disclose a possible serious risk to yourself or others, normally this will be discussed with you first.

To ensure good practice, MCS counsellors receive regular supervision.
 

THE COUNSELLING SERVICE IS AVAILABLE TO ALL
Being a voluntary non-profit making organisation, donations are welcome from those who are able to contribute.

Our organisation is a member of the British Association for Counselling.  All counsellors work to a professional code of practice with regard to confidentiality.
