UK Pool Tours of the Philippines

12 to 20 May 2007

5 to 12 June 2005

The 2005 tour had a smaller number of participants and was slightly shorter than the previous two years, but still brought out some competitive pool. Matches were played in Manila, Santa Cruz and Angeles.

11 to 24 September 2004

Steve Rogerson and Mick Beaumont again flew over, but not from the Landor as that team folded late last year. Both had played for the Duke of York in Lambeth earlier this year but Steve was now playing for the Queen Adelaide in Nottingham. There were some old friends from last year on the tour along with some new faces as we played teams in Manila, Angeles and Sabang.

30 August to 12 September 2003

Steve Rogerson and Mick Beaumont from the Landor pool team joined Eamonn Staunton (a past Landor pool player) at his home in the Philippines. Along with a number of other British residents in the country, we formed a pool team that played local teams in Manila, Subic and Angeles before a grand final match against a Philippines national team in an evening that including appearances by ex-world champion Efren Reyes and world number eight Lenardo Andam .
