Player profiles

Ben van Stellingwerff: In his second year in the winter league he played as a reserve due to work committments and will probably do the same this year.

Bob Cole: This Landor veteran looks set for another good league after landing the player of the season trophy last year.

Colin Young: His first two years in the team saw him win some excellent matches. A good battler.

Eamonn Staunton: Eamonn was player of the season three years ago but is now living in the Philippines, meaning he will only be available on odd visits to the UK. He has played at superleague and county level for London. Along with two other team members, played for a UK touring team in the Philippines in September 2003.

Kevin Higgins: Just ended his first season for the team and did well. An experienced player and has played for Devon at county level and for the Battersea & District Pool League at Inter-League level over the summer.

Mark Bevins: This will be his rookie season for the team, though he did make appearances during the summer league. A laid back style and a good shot maker.

Mick Beaumont: Vice captain and one of a group of players who came to The Landor from The Plough nine years ago. Plays an attractive attacking game and has an impressive record. Has played pool at superleague level. Won team player of the year a year ago. Along with two other team members, played for a UK touring team in the Philippines in September 2003.

Paul Hogan: Just finished his first season at premiership level and produced some good games.

Paul Pitman: A good tactical player who first played for the team this summer. Looked good but his recent marriage means he won't be available much this season.

Steve Rogerson: Captain and another player who moved to The Landor from The Plough nine years ago. Has played pool at superleague level and has twice been team player of the year. Along with two other team members, played for a UK touring team in the Philippines in September 2003.

Sugar James: An ex-Plough player who has twice been team player of the year. Has a smooth style and is very difficult to beat.

Teto Osman: Another ex-Plough player who returned to the team last year. A very good player but sadly work committments means he can't play every week.
