27 to 30 October 2000 This was the convention that brought the house down,
literally. It was held at a holiday camp on the side of an exposed hill
during the worst storms to hit England for many a year. On the final night,
part of the roof of the hotel blew off, leaving a number of rooms flooded,
including that of a friend of mine Rita, seen in three of the pix below.
The roof landed on the chalet occupied by two more of my friends - Anne
and Judith - as can be seen from the first three pix.
