Autumn in Taiwan
In November 2006, I went on a work trip to Taiwan
but had time to look round Taipei, visit temples, eat a snake
and visit Lukang.

Snake Alley
Snake Alley is a covered market in Taipei in which
there are various restaurants, some selling snakes as this man was

and cobra in barbecue sauce,
but I drew the line at the bottles of snake penises.
Longshan Temple
Near to Snake Alley is Longshan Temple:

the "Small Fragrant Sheep Health Pot"
There is even a statue of a camera

Lukang
During one of the work visits, we stopped off to
look around the markets and temples in Lukang:

And I did do some work
This was Christa Chao, who had the unenviable job
of looking after all the journalists, and she did it very well too
One company decided my name was actually "Steve
Electronics"
Me and the other journalists at some of the factories
we visited
